What to expect

The clifftop viewpoint is one of Bali's most photographed spots. A steep, rough path leads down to the beach, but waves are strong and swimming is risky.

Getting there

It is reached by fast boat from Bali to Nusa Penida, then about an hour by road.

Good to know

Wear proper shoes if you hike down and avoid the descent in wet weather.
