What to expect

Steep cliffs almost completely enclose the bay. It reopened in 2022 after a long closure to let coral and sharks recover, and visits are now strictly managed.

Getting there

Boats leave from Phi Phi Don, Phuket and Krabi; visitors land at a jetty on the far side.

Good to know

Swimming is not allowed – the bay is a protected viewing area.
