What to expect

Bondi is a 1 km arc of golden sand with patrolled swimming flags, surfers and a busy promenade. The Bondi Icebergs ocean pool sits at the southern end.

Getting there

Buses run from Bondi Junction station, about 15 minutes away; central Sydney is 30 minutes.

Good to know

Always swim between the red and yellow flags – rip currents are common.
