What to expect

Cable Beach is a few kilometres of soft sand west of downtown Nassau, backed by big resorts. Calm water and plenty of operators make it easy for swimming, jet skis and boat trips.

Getting there

Lynden Pindling International Airport is about 15 minutes away; jitney buses run to downtown.

Good to know

Walk west to quieter stretches near Goodman's Bay for a calmer swim.
