What to expect

You can wade out a long way here without the water rising much above the waist. The beach sits at the island's northern tip, with bars and loungers along the sand.

Getting there

Ferries from Cancún reach Isla Mujeres in about 20 minutes; the beach is a short walk from the pier.

Good to know

It faces west, making it one of the best sunset spots around Cancún.
