What to expect

Saint-Jean is split by the rocky Eden Rock headland into two sheltered curves of sand. Boutiques and stylish beach restaurants sit just behind, and the water stays shallow and clear.

Getting there

The beach is right next to Gustaf III Airport; Gustavia is a five-minute drive.

Good to know

Watching the short-runway landings from the roundabout above the beach is a local pastime.
